The Apprenticeship Program is centered on supporting businesses and individuals. Expanding apprenticeships helps businesses with their current and future workforce needs as well as individuals with a career pathway, which includes work-based learning. Meet Tammy Nehrkorn from BEST INC to learn more!

Workshare IL is voluntary program that provides employers facing a decline in business with an alternative to layoffs. It allows employers to reduce the hours worked in any of their business units, without resorting to temporary or permanent layoffs. It enables employees to keep their jobs and receive. Unemployment Insurance (UI) Benefits to help offset their reduction in hours. Meet with Jane Verplaetse of IDES to learn more!
